New Art Gallery

New Art Gallery

The reason an artist creates a work of art is to share his vision with the rest of the world. There has definitely been a noticeable increase in art-related activities in the last couple of years or so at all levels in Askari X, and an Art Gallery has been  created to showcase the talent of budding artists.  Having one glance at the gallery proves that the art scene in our campus is definitely becoming more vibrant.

The focus has primarily been on artists, who have the latent talent that needs to be displayed in an appropriate fashion and what better than an art gallery at your own Alma mater. This exhibition can later establish these young artists in the art milieu.

We at Askari X believe that with this collection of young art from young artists, we hope to connect with a younger generation of art enthusiasts and hopefully, build a bond between reality and fiction to create harmony that is lacking in today’s day an age.

Assembly Presentations

 Assembly Presentations

At Askari X, we impart conceptual knowledge through a variety of media. One such medium is our well-synchronised assembly presentations which provide an opportunity to the students to face the audience on stage. Early Years and Primary classes both participate in all such activities. Recently we have held some very enlightening assemblies on Dengue, Go Green, Dignity and a research by Class IV-Blue on the Philippines.

Making the World A Better Place

A Poster Designing Competition was held on September 27. Classes III-VI participated in the competition and the aesthetically designed posters not only reflected the sensibilities of the young minds but also their sensitivity to the current issues such as pollution, water shortage and energy crisis. The winners and runners-up were given certificates to encourage their creativity and all participants were given ‘Go Green Initiator’ badges.

Colours Galore

Colours Galore

Celebrating Colour Day means bringing more awareness about colours in a child's life. The participation of students and their parents in the Red Colour Day was commendable. The ambience was perfect as everything was aesthetically displayed, featuring the colour red. The students talked enthusiastically about the red toys which they had brought from home, in the 'Show and Tell' segment. The highlight of the day was the stage presentation 'The little Red Riding Hood' by KG students. The day ended with the parents visiting the wonderfully decorated classrooms and the students going home with colourful giveaways.
